FUNDACJA STREFY RYTMU ZAPRASZA around the rhythm: afro-cuba 28.11.2010 g. 19 Strefa Rytmu wstęp: 5 PLN Muzyka i taniec na Kubie, ich afrykańskie korzenie, związki z religiami, bóstwami a także świeckie formy obecne na kubańskich ulicach, to temat spotkania z cyklu „around the rhythm”, które odbędzie się w szkole gry na bębnach etnicznych Strefa Rytmu w Warszawie. Opowieści, zdjęcia i nagrania z tegorocznej wyprawy na Kubę przedstawią znawcy tego kraju oraz jego kultury: Nikodem Bąkowski (muzyk, pedagog) i Marta Tarnowska (tancerka, tłumaczka). Wstęp: 5 zł. Zapraszamy serdecznie! Cuban music and dances, their african origins, connections with religions and gods, as well as profane forms widely present on cuban streets are the subject of the meeting, which is a part of “around the rhythm” project. It’ll take place in the Warsaw school of ethnic drums – Strefa Rytmu. Stories, photographies and recordings brought from a very recent journey to Cuba will be presented by experts in this country’s culture: Nikodem Bąkowski (musician, teacher) and Marta Tarnowska (dancer, translator).
